Life is not all about Saturday & Sunday!!

There is something that has been bothering me since the time i started working and that something is "working hours". Don't you get worried by the mention of it itself ?? at least i do.
It is a pain for me to even think of what i went through all these years. Somehow i feel the very concept of
9 hours of working is very inhuman and to make things even worse the company i worked for has 10 hour working ( did you just sympathize for me , if you didn't , you should ). However, we are paid only for the 10 hrs and not for all the other time that we invest into the company like 1 hour in the morning,4 hours of to and fro travel time, oolala 15 hours are done already and you are left with 9 hours ( you just raised your eyebrows, didn't you? ) and your doctor reminds of 7 hours of sleep , remember the dark circles otherwise?? So after all this you are left with 2 hours(120 minutes) oh wait are you married ?? If you just said YES then you are left with minus 2 hrs yea, i did mean (-2) hrs !!! I know, i know we have weekends but deep inside we all know that weekends never go as you planned because of the whole lot of backlogs that you already piled up in the weekdays. Sigh, i get a headache while i write all this.

In the path of modernization we have all have lost the importance of "Living a Life" and we are just "surviving".Our ancestors worked for their living as well but there was a difference and the difference is that they did not deal with professionalism, non living and concrete closed buildings like we do now nor did they have to deal with the traffic, depressions, trauma that today's employees suffer from every day.

My Grandfather was a farmer who he lived in a small village. I visited him in my summer vacation all through my childhood. Some days he would take me along to the fields and i loved it. I enjoyed the conversations , smell of the soil, fresh fields, sowing seeds , paddy fields , birds, and eating all the freshly grown food.I agree there is a lot of hard work involved in agriculture but again it is not everyday and also when you realise that you are growing food for people to eat, it is even more encouraging. Even after all the hard work under the sun and no modern gadgets at home my Grandparents were still happy people and they had time for family and socialising.

On the contrary, if i tried talking to my colleague for more than a minute my Team Lead would give me a hard stare or even walk up to me and ask if i have nothing to do ! This happens to me atleast !I remember that while sowing seeds in the fields my grandparents sang songs loudly and merrily , it was so much fun and not distraction. But in the so called big organizations HR's are hugely paid for promoting work culture but they fail miserably.

If one loves his/ her job then i totally agree that 9 hrs of working is not painful at all. However, i believe only 2 out 10 people get their dream jobs  and remaining are just working for money ( yes, thats the hard truth). Unfortunately when you hit 40 or 50 years of age you will feel it was not worth it all but you will still suggest the same for your children, its a iteration again ....

I believe that a job should always be part time and it should not be consuming all your time leaving nothing for yourself. The concept of part time job is slowly picking up in today's world as well but in a very slow pace. If you are clever and adamant enough to not let your life ruin by staring at the computer in a concrete building and faking a smile, then he/she will find a good paid part time job.(I bet that there are plenty)

We are born in a beautiful planet called "Earth" .What a waste of our lives if we do not take time off and see the beautiful landscapes, mountains, waterfalls, people and cultures, birds, animals, and much more that our mother earth has nurtured so far. What a waste of our lives if we did not get out of those concrete tech parks and "TRAVEL" ????
Would'nt you want to scream out of happiness from the mountain top ??? Would'nt you want to ski over the snow clad mountains?? Would'nt you want to camp in the deep Black Forest of Germany??  Would'nt you want to be on the highest motorable road of Ladakh?? Would'nt you want to sunbathe on the wonderful beaches in the world?? Would'nt you want to trek the Mt Everest ?? Would'nt you want ride a camel in the deserts of UAE??? Would'nt you want to climb up the Eiffel tower? Would'nt you want to  click a selfie at the "Burj Khalifa"?? Would'nt you want a couple shoot at the Taj Mahal ? I could go on and one life is never enough !

Live life ! And to live life you should :
-give love to family,
-make good friends,
-Eat good food,
-Travel the world and
-Dream.

~I won't be the last
I won't be the first
Find a way to where the sky meets the earth
It's all right and all wrong
For me it begins at the end of the road
We come and go........~
